Safety Net holds biannual strategic planning session
The Chatham County Safety Net Planning Council held its biannual day long strategic planning workshop on May 6, 2009. The Council met at the Georgia Medical Society building on Drayton Street to evaluate the progress on last year's priorities and set priorities and goals for the coming years. Facilitated by Dr. Kathryn Martin, the session was attended by over 30 members and partners who brought their unique perspectives and experiences to the table.
To celebrate the milestone of the Safety Net becoming an independent private non-profit organization, adopting a logo and launching a website, the attendees gathered for a photo-op in front of Savannah's signature fountain in Forsyth Park.
